For the 2024 and 2025 editions, the Montreux Jazz Festival has moved outside its walls while the DM2C building is brought up to standard. The main stage was built on the lake, requiring numerous technical changes to accommodate nearly 250,000 festival-goers. This predominantly outdoor configuration necessitated significant adjustments in terms of structures, energy, sound, lighting, security, and logistics.
Skynight has been a technical partner of the Montreux Jazz Festival since 2006. We started out installing sound systems before taking on lighting, staging, and video. Every year, we incorporate the latest technologies and new trends in live stage design.

Today, Skynight provides lighting, rigging, video broadcasting, electrical distribution, and sound systems for the concerts. The last two outdoor editions mobilized more than 50 technicians in addition to the festival's own staff, and more than 20 semi-trailers of equipment. We constantly adapt our solutions to the constraints of the site and the technical requirements of the festival.
