As part of the development of its activities, Skynight is strengthening its video team and recruiting a Video Director/Operator (M/F/X) à 100 %.

For over 40 years, Skynight has been supporting major events in Switzerland: festivals, conferences, shows, product launches, and corporate events. The company draws on its recognized expertise in sound, lighting, video, and structures to deliver demanding technical projects.

Job description: 

Technical event project management

• Provide technical video management for event projects, from technical design to on-site operation. 
• Analyze customer needs and translate constraints into appropriate technical solutions. 
• Develop, adapt, and validate implementation plans and video overviews. 
• Define video system configurations (control room, recording, broadcasting) and select equipment based on technical, logistical, and budgetary constraints.
• Provide advanced technical support to project managers throughout the production cycle.

Event operation and technical management

• Prepare, install, and configure video systems (control room, recording, broadcasting).
• Supervise, manage, and coordinate on-site video teams (filming crew, operators, technicians). 
• Ensure video control, technical management, and video stream management in live conditions, while guaranteeing system reliability. 
• Participate in technical coordination with the client and partners, working directly with the project manager.

Your skills :

• Advanced technical training in audiovisual or broadcast or equivalent field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in audiovisual event operations.
• In-depth knowledge of video production and broadcasting equipment
• Ability to diagnose, anticipate, and resolve technical issues in a live environment.
• Autonomy, rigor, organizational skills, and a strong results-oriented culture.
• Valid driver's license.
• Aerial work platform license and certification for working at height a plus
